There’s a presence to Sharptop Mountain,
a feeling of mystery. Its remote location, coupled with a challenging landscape, has left it as untouched today, as was when it was first explored by the Creeks and Cherokee. The first Europeans to settle the area used to tell stories about the mountain and the its terrain, asserting that neither God’s, nor man’s law applied to it.
